Description With enormous diversity of landscapes, Argentina, the 8th largest country in the world, offers many wonderful places to visit. Below we have a short description from the areas we are offering packages:
Buenos Aires The city is known as the most charming and European capital of South America. The architecture, atmosphere, boemian life, great cafes and museums, make Buenos Aires, the home of Tango, one of the most eclectic and pleasurable cities in the continent.
Patagonia A fascinating, beautiful and misterious part of the South American continent. Geographically, Pagagonia is divided in two areas: the Atlantic Patagonia, with a desertic continental portion and an ocean with the highest concentration of marine animals in the planet. The Andean Patagonia is marked by the Andes Cordillera. The scenery is varied, featuring snow peaks, lakes, forests and glaciers of amazing beauty.
Bariloche It's one of the most popular touristic destinations and winter centers in Argentina. Bariloche has turquoise blue lakes- with waters from the glaciers, surrounded by mountains and the National Park Nahuel Huapi, the biggest and one of the most beautiful in the country. The town with its many log cabins, is cozy and charming.
Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia In the southern extreme of South America is the cold and barren Tierra del Fuego, surrounded by the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, with winds from the Antartic. The unique and magnificent scenery is formed by many islands, small channels, icebergs, lakes, glaciers and a diverse fauna and flora. Ushuaia is the main city and it's also known as "The end of the world".
Activities Buenos Aires: city tours, walks, tango show, byke tours, shopping for leather products and enjoying the museums, bars, cafes and nightlife. Bariloche: trekking, rafting, canyoning, rock climbing, kayaking, fishing and abseiling. During the winter, it's possible to ski. Patagonia: the main activities are trekking in the Parks, boat tours and expeditions into the glaciers. Other activities such as diving and kayaking are also possible. Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia: trekking, skiing in the winter, boat tours, wildlife observation: pinguins colonies, whales, sea lions and other animals.

Tour 1 - City Tour : This tour will allow us to grasp a first idea about the historical, architectonic and demographic characteristic of this large city that is the City of Buenos Aires. We will see, among other points of interest: Plaza de Mayo (The May Square), Casa Rosada (the Presidential Palace), the Cathedral of Buenos Aires, 9 de Julio Avenue (the widest avenue in the world), Teatro Colón (The Buenos Aires Opera House), the Obelisco, the National House of Congress, La Boca neighborhood with its traditional Caminito Street, San Martin Square, The Recoleta Cemetery and Palermo Park.
Tour 2 - Tigre
and the Parana River Delta: We
will cross to the residential, northern zone of the city of Buenos Aires, and
posh Greater Buenos Aires neighborhoods such as Vicente Lopez, Olivos (the
private quarters for Argentine Presidents), Martinez, and San Isidro. After
visiting the attractive shopping mall at the San Isidro station of the modern
“Train to the Coast”, we will take this train up to the
town of Tigre, along the River Plate. When arriving at Tigre, a bus will
take us to the yacht club so that we can enjoy a ride on board a catamaran
through the Parana River Delta. We will get back by bus over the Panamericana
Highway up to the city of Buenos Aires.
Tour 3 - Trip to La Plata: This tour will allow us to see the South area of Buenos Aires city. We will visit Boca District, Nicolás Avellaneda Bridge, South Dock, factories, Pereyra Iraola Park, The City for Children, Astronomical Geographical Observatory, Natural Science Museum, Cathedral and Government House. We will return to Buenos Aires by Mitre Ave., Pueyrredón Bridge and Montes de Oca Avenue.
Tour 4 - Trip to Luján:
This tour will allow us to visit the West area of Buenos Aires city. We will
visit Costanera Ave., Northern Highway, Panamericana Highway, Buen Ayre Rd.,
Morón, Merlo, Moreno, Luján (lunch). We will then visit the Neogothic Style
Basilica, and town hall preserved intact from colonial times. And finally we
will visit a very interesting colonial museum and a museum of transport,
religion and handicrafts. Tour 5 - Gaucho Feast: This fabulous excursion is the only one that allows us to appreciate the traditional dances and enjoy the characteristic music, songs and food of the Argentine Gauchos. We will leave the hotel to arrive at a ranch in the pampas to experience this event. Lunch is included.
Tour 6 - Buenos Aires Night Tango Show: This tour allows us to view the night life of Buenos Aires. We will leave the hotel and go to a luxurious Tango House, where we will enjoy an excellent show with dinner, music and typical dances.
Tour 7 - Sacramento Colony:
We will leave from the hotel for the port were we will board a ferry going to
the Sacramento Colony in Uruguay, founded in 1680. We will visit the Historical
neighbourhood , the Citadel Door, Suspiros sidestreet, the Light House, the
house of the Viceroy and beaches. In the afternoon we will return to Buenos
Aires by boat, and then will be transported back to the hotel.
Tour 8 - An excursion by Steam Train through the
Pampas: We will leave the center of
Buenos Aires city (Federico Lacroze Station) by steam train and arrive some
distance from the city in the midst of the Pampas. Then on a three hour trip
with service and orchestral music we will arrive to a city, where we will be
served a typical creole barbecue. We will return in the afternoon. (Only on
Sundays). |
